Luminis Project Administrator,
Montgomery College
Provide full-time, on-site management of the myMC (Luminis) Web portal at client
site - Montgomery College is a Maryland community college with three campus
locations and over 35,000 students
- Responsible for all operational,
functional, and content-related maintenance of the myMC portal; assist with
technical maintenance of the portal on an as-needed basis
- Assist the college training
departments in developing and providing end-user training on the Luminis Platform
and the myMC portal
- Coordinate the myMC Advisory
Team (governing body for the myMC portal)
- Act as a liaison to college
offices - including information technology, institutional effectiveness, outcomes
assessment, academic affairs, student services, distance learning, public
relations - on all issues related to the myMC portal
- Consult on integration
services and new technology initiatives (e.g, iTunes University, ePortfolio,
WebCT, TracDat) as they pertain to the myMC portal

Services
Provided implementation services and training on the Luminis Platform (Web portal
system) for higher education clients throughout the U.S. and abroad
- Created customized client
solutions for training and organizational strategies pertaining to the Luminis
implementation
- Delivered documentation
and follow-up materials to clients to assist in their strategic planning and
implementation efforts for the Luminis Platform
- Assisted clients in understanding
and planning for integration of external systems (CMS, LCMS, ERP, Library,
etc.) with the Luminis Platform
- Provided follow-up support
and needs assessment throughout the implementation
- Provided long-range follow-up
and re-assessment of the Luminis implementation at the request of clients
- Maintained current knowledge
of Luminis Platform functional and technical specifications as well as baseline
knowledge of competing products
- Maintained current knowledge
of major products and services available in the academic technology arena
to assist clients with integration and implementation
- Clients included: Fordham
University, Illinois Institute of Technology, State Fair Community College,
Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, McNeese State University, United
Arab Emirates University, Universidad del Valle de México, Instituto
Tecnológico Autónomo de México, Universidad Autónoma
de Santo Domingo
